She’s starred in the films The Distinguished Gentleman, Dumb and Dumber, Barb Wire, Eve’s Bayou, Fraternity Males, Black Listed, Motives, AN IDEAL Fit, and House of the Brave. She produced her performing debut in the 1987 film Leonard Component 6. From 1993 to 2002 she starred as Amanda Bentley-Livingston in the tv screen series Medical diagnosis Murder. Rowell has gained 11 NAACP Picture Awards and a Soap Opera Digest Award and provides been nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards. She began as a model and ballet dancer. Rowell in addition has made an appearance in episodes of it series As the Globe Turns, The Cosby Present, THE NEW Prince of Bel-Surroundings, Ghost Whisperer, Single Females, and Law & Order: Particular Victims Device. Rowell starred as Drucilla in the soap opera The Youthful and the Restless from 1990 to 2007. She founded the Roswell Foster Kids Positive Plan in 1990.
