For his role in "Shameless", Tyler had to re-audition for the role of "Tony Markovich" after he had already auditioned, booked, and shot the role for the pilot episode. Once picked up to series by Showtime, the role became larger than originally conceived. Tyler was a novice and more seasoned actors were brought in to test for the role of "Tony".
