Theo attended Demopolis High School, where he started playing basketball. After matriculation, he enrolled at the University of Wyoming, where he continued his basketball career. In 1995, he declared for the NBA Draft and was selected as the 18th overall pick by the Detroit Pistons, the start of building his net worth.
