Sally Fiszman Biography

$372 Million: Daniel David Fiszman (9 January 1945 – 13 April 2011) was a diamond dealer, most widely known as a shareholder in and director of Arsenal SOCCER TEAM, and played a respected part in the club’s move from Highbury to Ashburton Grove, now referred to as Emirates Stadium. Additional shareholdings required his total well worth to around £236m, rating him 348th on the 2008 Sunday Occasions Rich List (351st in 2007, 273rd in 2006, 305th in 2005 and 207th in 2004). Fiszman produced his fortune in diamonds, building Celebrity Diamonds Group which exchanged in rough diamonds. Celebrity Diamonds Group also owns 16% in Abbeycrest, whose major customers consist of Argos and Asda. He offered the group in 2007 for £150M, to focus on his part in completing Arsenal’s fresh stadium. Fiszman was created in Willesden, North London and was the child of a Belgian Jewish few who fled the Nazis during Globe Battle II. Fiszman and his wife Sally resided in St Prex near Geneva, Switzerland. His hobbies included operating and flying – he was a completely qualified commercial aircraft pilot. He passed away on 13 April 2011. Fiszman have been going through treatment for throat malignancy during his death.
