He was elected in to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014. Blake was drafted #70 by the LA Kings in the 1988 NHL Draft. Blake was called to the NHL All-Star Team in 1994, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003. After 11 periods with the Kings, he transferred to Colorado Avalanche in 2000-2001 period. Playing internationally for Canada Blake gained Gold at the 2002 Olympic Video games, 1994 Globe Championships, and 1997 Globe Championships. He performed for the Brantford Classics, Stratford Cullitons, and Bowling Green Falcons before getting into the NHL.
