Stewart had somewhat of a unique childhood; instead of growing up in the suburbs, he traveled the country in a motorhome with his family. Stewart and his brother, James “Bubba” Stewart, were raised by a man deeply in love with motorcycles, and he naturally passed this passion on to his children, getting Bubba into racing at such an early age that he was sponsored by the age of seven.

Malcolm didn’t take to motocross like his brother, and didn’t even try to pursue any sort of career in motocross. In fact, just years before his debut he planned to join the Bassmaster tour. However, being a professional fisherman was not in his future, and he ended up debuting at the Houston Supercross in 2011 in the Reliant Stadium, which was impressive enough, and he ventured further into the world of motocross. This career would prove to be very lucrative for his net worth.

For the rest of the 2011 season, Stewart rode in the Lites Eastern Region for the team ARMA-Suzuki City-Nitro Circus, on a Suzuki bike and with the number 139. The year after that, Stewart transferred to JDR J-Star KTM, but he didn’t have much success on the team however, and was moved down to 250cc West. There he changed his number to 32, and worked on perfecting his technique, and it was during this time that he learned how to become a successful motocross racer, and subsequently raise his net worth.

During the 2013 season Stewart was signed by Troy Lee Designs Honda. He was hired to race in the lites class during the 2013/2014 season, but Stewart actually graduated to the 450 Class before the 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, as he displayed immense potential. Once his contract with Troy Lee Designs expired, Stewart bought a bike from them and left to pursue a solo career. He felt like he had to prove himself, and prove to teams that he was an elite rider. This worked, as he was soon signed to the Geico Honda team.

As of 2016, Stewart has finished in the top ten of the 250SX East Region for two seasons straight, in 2016 winning the East Coast Supercross 250MX Championship. He is now, however, taking some time off in order to train and prepare for the 2017 circuit; he plans to race full-time. His net worth should increase greatly in the coming years as his professional motocross career really kicks into high gear.

In regards to his personal life, he is unmarried and there are no rumours of relationships. He is very close to his family, including his father with whom he keeps a car collection. Stewart mostly stays focused on motocross however, not letting anything else distract him from his goals.
