The Animals mixed electrical blues with rock and in america were among the leading bands of the British Invasion. they truly became The Animals soon after Burdon became a member of the band. The initial band was the Alan Cost Rhythm and Blues Combo, which formed in 1958; Combined with the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Hollies, the Dave Clark Five, and the Kinks, the group launched British music and style. Burdon’s powerful voice could be noticed on the Pets’ singles ‘The Home of the Rising Sunlight’, ‘Sky Pilot’, ‘Monterey’, ‘I’m Crying’, ‘Boom Boom’, ‘Don’t I WANT TO Become Misunderstood’, ‘Bring It On House to Me’, ‘Baby I WANT TO Take You House’, ‘It’s My Existence’, ‘We Gotta Escape This Place’, ‘Don’t Bring Me Down’, and ‘Observe See Rider’.
