Born Charles Michael Kittridge Thompson IV in 1965 in Boston, Massachusetts, Frank Dark has performed under many stage names, including Dark Francis when he used the Pixies. Dark shaped the Pixies in 1986 and headlined the band until its eventual breakup in the first ’90s. in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Following the band broke up, Dark transformed his stage name from Dark Francis to Frank Dark and released a self-titled debut solo album in 1993, which he implemented up with the dual album “Teenager of the entire year” twelve months later. Shortly, he formed a fresh band, Frank Dark and the Catholics, whose initial album released in 1998. It became the initial album that was ever uploaded to eMusic.S. Toward the finish of 2003, the Pixies announced their forthcoming reunion tour, which traveled over the U. The Pixies released three studio albums between 1988 and 1991: “Surfer Rosa”, “Bossanova”, and “Trompe le Monde”. The group’s debut album, “Petit Fours”, arrived in 2009 2009.
