40 Glocc spent his early days in Glaveston, Texas, but when he turned ten, his mother and he moved to California, and switched between several cities, before settling in Colton, located in Southern California.
Little by little, his musical taste and ability came to the fore, and as he was became older, he was more and more involved in the underground rap scene of the town. In the late 1990s he formed the rap group Zoo Crew, with which he released the album entitled “Migrate, Adapt Or Die”. Several years later, he signed a deal with Empire Musicwerks, and released his first album through the BMG entitled “The Jakal”; on the album he collaborated with several artists, including Kurupt, Bad Azz, Ras Kass and others. His next album came out eight years later, entitled “C.O.P.S: Crippin` On Public Streets”, but in the meantime, he released five mixtapes, including “Outspoken” (2006), “Outspoken 2” (2006), “Outspoken 3” (2007), and “I Am Legend” (2009), with sales increasing his net worth substantially.
